Blog Idea: Gettin Auntsy (see what I did there?)

12:55pm:

After months and months of waiting, today I will become an aunt.  My sister is scheduled to have her C-section at 1:30pm, lets hope she doesn't have to wait an extra 3 hours like my grandpa had to wait for his surgery... But that's a whole different story for another time.  Now my parents and I are just sitting around waiting for more news. *sigh* well, while we wait I guess I'll tell you some stuff about my niece, her name is Violet Augusta Hoffman and according to my sister's doctor she will weigh about 6 pounds.  That's about all I know for now other than she is a strong kicker and she has had a lot of in utero hiccups

This is about all I have for now so I think I'll save this and finish it later when I have more to say.

9:10pm:

6 lbs 7 ozs 18 inches of CUTE! she is all pink & chubby just like a baby should be!  Quiet little thing too, the only time she started to holler was when my sister tried to feed her and she wanted no part of it gosh darn it!

My sister told the nurse she wanted a cheese burger!  But can you blame her? It's been a long day.
